City warns of fake Ekurhuleni Public Employment Programme circulating

The City of Ekurhuleni has alerted residents to a fraudulent candidate list for the 2024/25 Ekurhuleni Public Employment Programme (EPEP) circulating on social media.

According to city officials, the list is outdated and pertains to the 2023/24 programme, with no relevance to the current recruitment cycle.

City spokesperson Zweli Dlamini urged the public to disregard the list, assuring that official communication regarding EPEP recruitment will only be shared through the city’s verified platforms.

“The city remains committed to strict adherence to policies governing the recruitment and selection of beneficiaries for all temporary employment opportunities,” said Dlamini.
