Sergeant Kolobe Amia Kwenaite of the Thembisa FCS continues to make her voice heard in the fight against child abuse.
She has become known for hoisting the SAPS flag higher through her outstanding work of securing lengthy jail terms for the heartless criminals who rape children in the Ekurhuleni District.
In December 2023, she secured a life imprisonment sentence for a 40-year-old man who raped a minor in Olifantsfontein when the child was walking home after playing with the children next door.

Kwenaite secured another life imprisonment for 58-year-old Buti Janji Mthembu, who raped a five-year-old girl in Ivory Park in April 2019.
On April 6, 2019, a young girl was sleeping in her room when she heard voices outside that woke her up.
She went outside and found community members who informed her Mthembu raped her younger sister inside a toilet on the property.
The community member caught Mthembu in the act.
A docket was opened at Ivory Park Police Station and allocated to Kwenaite, who collected all the evidence and submitted it to the court to ensure justice was served to the victim.
