Kempton Park SAPS and stakeholders unite to combat GBV

As part of the campaign, a door-to-door initiative was conducted, during which pamphlets were distributed.

The Kempton Park Social Crime Prevention Youth Desk, in collaboration with various stakeholders, recently participated in the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.

According to SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego, the initiative aimed to raise awareness about GBV and provide the community with vital information on combating this issue.

The Kempton Park Social Crime Prevention Youth Desk recently collaborated with various stakeholders by actively participating in the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.

As part of the campaign, a door-to-door initiative was conducted, during which pamphlets were distributed.

These pamphlets offered guidance on what steps to take if an individual or their loved one is experiencing GBV, as well as a list of essential contact numbers and locations for assistance.

“The stakeholders showed full commitment to the programme and actively participated in the door-to-door campaign,” said Ditshego.
