Aston Manor welcomes Grade Ones for 2025
"Parents dropped their children off at school, took pictures and everyone was happy and exited for the day," said Dean.
Aston Manor Primary School welcomed 129 excited Grade One learners on January 15, marking the start of an important chapter in their academic journey.
Grade One teacher Roxanne Dean shared that the atmosphere was positive, with no teary-eyed children on the day.
“Even though it was their first day at school, the learners were excited and full of anticipation,” said Dean.

“Parents dropped their children off, took pictures, and everyone was happy and excited for the day.”
To help ensure a smooth transition, the school hosted an orientation session on January 13.
During this session, parents and learners were introduced to the school’s facilities and routines.
“This preparatory step seemed to have paid off, as the learners settled in confidently on their first day,” added Dean.
