Company donates equipment to Inxiweni Primary School

Hi-Q managing director Sean Harrison expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership with the school.

Hi-Q, a subsidiary of Goodyear, visited Inxiweni Primary School in Thembisa on January 29 to donate office furniture, teaching equipment, fridges, and other essential materials aimed at improving the school’s learning environment.

It was not the first time the company supported the school.

Previous donations included boardroom furniture, classroom desks, and chairs.

As the school’s need for resources remained, Hi-Q continued its commitment to ensuring a well-equipped learning space by expanding its contributions.

“As a subsidiary of Goodyear, which has been supporting this school since 2020, we became involved two years ago, and it is an honour to return,” said Harrison.

“Education is crucial to the future of this country, and these teachers are shaping tomorrow’s leaders. We believe this donation will contribute meaningfully to the school’s development.”

Harrison added despite economic challenges, Hi-Q remains committed to investing in education.

“Every visit here feels like a journey, and seeing how happy these learners are makes us proud to be part of this school.
