EMPD conducts scholar patrol at Birchleigh Primary School

Officers from the EMPD’s Social Crime Prevention Unit recently conducted a scholar patrol inspection at Birchleigh Primary School.

The purpose of the inspection was to observe the scholar patrol team on how they conduct the flow of traffic during rainy weather and monitor compliance on learner transportation.

The officers also checked on the safety of the scholar patrol and advised learner transportation to keep a good following distance when driving.
