Man gets nine years in prison for theft and fraud in Kempton Park
Bernard Koba has been stealing money from the company since 2009 ,in total he stole an amount of R 871 965.

Kempton Park SAPS has successfully secured a conviction for theft and fraud.
“On February 21, Bernard Koba was sentenced to nine years’ imprisonment for theft and five years for fraud, of which three years are wholly suspended on condition that he is not convicted of fraud during his suspension,” said Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego.
According to Ditshego the director of a business on Fifth Avenue, Bredell reported that Koba had been stealing money from her company since 2009.

In total, he stole R871 965.
Koba was employed as the operational manager.
Further investigations revealed that he had used fraudulent documents when applying for the job.
Detective Sergeant Tlou Moseamo of Kempton Park SAPS played a crucial role in ensuring that justice was served and Koba was sentenced on three counts.
He was sentenced to 10 years on each count.
“In terms of Section 280 of Act 51/77, the court ruled that the sentences would run concurrently and Koba was declared unfit to possess a firearm,” said Ditshego.
