EMPD officers conduct clean-up operation

Learners from Moduopo Primary School, Emangweni Primary School, Thembisa High School, and Jiyane Secondary School participated in the initiative.

Officers from the EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit, in collaboration with the Green Development Foundation, conducted a clean-up campaign at Liliba Sports Grounds and Esselen Park Dam on March 27.

Learners from Moduopo Primary School, Emangweni Primary School, Thembisa High School, and Jiyane Secondary School participated in the initiative in the Thembisa area.

All participating schools gathered at Moduopo Primary School, where the campaign aimed to promote environmental awareness, encourage learners to take responsibility for proper waste disposal, and improve the overall cleanliness and health of the community and environment.

As part of the initiative, learners received hygiene education before proceeding to Liliba Sports Grounds and Esselen Park Dam to carry out the clean-up operation.
