Women gather for fundraiser and networking in Kempton Park
The evening featured sponsored gifts, lucky draws and auction items, which added excitement while supporting a good cause.
Kempton Park resident Cindy Brits recently hosted a Diva Network Paint and Sip at Serengeti to support the Woman of Stature Foundation.
The event attracted 59 women for an inspiring evening focused on networking, creativity, and fundraising.
Local businesses RE/MAX Dazzle, Johan Jacobs & Malcolm Moodie, BetterBond and BetterSure were key to the event’s success, helping raise a significant amount.

Brits said the goal was to raise funds and unite like-minded businesswomen to network and uplift one another.
“As a nominee for entrepreneur of the year in the Woman of Stature Awards 2025, there is a special category for fundraiser of the year.
“I spearheaded this event to be in the running for the award and make a real difference in the lives of women in business,” said Brits.
The fundraiser generated R65 000 for the Woman of Stature Foundation, which runs the Woman Rise Programme, an initiative that empowers female entrepreneurs.

After her nomination, Brits had a rigorous vetting process to validate her business achievements and leadership.
Of 700 nominees, she was among the 134 contenders for the 2025 awards.

She thanked everyone who supported her journey.
“Let’s take hands and make a difference together, one woman, one business, one family at a time,” Brits said.
She also said she would host similar events to continue building momentum and impact.
