A spectacular showcase of aerial acrobatics and miniature aviation is set to dazzle the skies once again as the Barnstormers Model Flying Club hosts its much-anticipated Annual Airshow on July 27.
Taking place at the club’s scenic flying field on the outskirts of Kempton Park, the event promises a full day of entertainment for aviation enthusiasts, families, and curious newcomers alike.
The airshow will feature an impressive array of remote-controlled aircraft, including vintage warbirds, cutting-edge jets, and innovative home-built designs.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the public once again for what’s become a highlight on the model flying calendar,” said club chairperson Danie Potgieter.
“Whether you’re a seasoned hobbyist or simply interested in the world of model aviation, there’s something for everyone.”
Gates open at 08:00, with flight demonstrations beginning at 09:00 and continuing throughout the day.
In addition to the high-flying action, guests can enjoy food stalls, hobby exhibits, and the opportunity to meet and chat with pilots and engineers about the fascinating world of model aircraft.

Admission is set at:
R100 per motor vehicle
R300 per bus or taxi
R50 per motorcycle
Proceeds from entrance fees will support club operations, facility maintenance, and youth outreach initiatives aimed at inspiring the next generation of aviation enthusiasts.
