Olifantsfontein Clinic hosts EMPD awareness drive on GBV, child abuse
Pamphlets, conversations and safety tips were shared as the EMPD engaged the Olifantsfontein community in a drive to combat GBV and protect children.
On November 13, the EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit conducted a GBV and child abuse awareness campaign at Olifantsfontein Clinic in the Olifantsfontein area.
The programme aimed to educate the community on the importance of standing firmly against all forms of harassment and abuse directed at women and children.

During the engagement, officers distributed pamphlets containing information on GBV, child abuse and domestic violence, and spoke with community members about how to recognise, report and prevent such incidents.
