Melville Koppies to reopen to visitors on the first Sunday of 2026

The Melville Koppies will reopen on January 4 with visiting hours from 08:00 to 11:30, offering secure parking at Marks Park and using all entry fees to support the reserve’s maintenance.

Just like everyone else, the Melville Koppies will take a holiday and reopen on the first Sunday of 2026, January 4.
On this day, the gates will be open from 08:00 until 11:30.

Entry fees are R100 for adults and R50 for those under 18. Children under five enter for free.

Come and find an indigenous morning glory that spreads through the grassland in spring and summer.

Visitors can access secure parking at Marks Park, Judith Road.

Security on the Koppies is provided, and all income goes to maintenance of the Koppies.
