The EMPD’s Social Crime Prevention Unit conducted a safety awareness campaign at Mega Mart Mall in Thembisa on January 27.

The campaign aimed to educate shoppers about staying safe in their surroundings. EMPD officers distributed pamphlets and engaged with members of the public, sharing practical safety tips and encouraging vigilance while shopping.

Officers also urged community members to report any suspicious behaviour or criminal activity to the nearest law enforcement agency.
