The City of Ekurhuleni and Eskom have scheduled an emergency power supply interruption for Sunday, March 8, from 06:00 to 18:00.

According to the city, the outage is required to allow for maintenance work at the Isando substation.

The following streets in Isando will be affected:

• Quality Road
• Diesel Road

• Monteer Road

• Power Road

• Tungsten Road

• Girder Street

• Foundry Road

• Anvil Road

• Electron Road

• Isando Service Road

• Lathe Street

Meanwhile, the city’s technicians will conduct emergency network switching on the same day from 09:00 to 10:00 in Isando Extension 1.

• Monteer Road

• Isando Road

• Electron Road

• Foundry Street

Residents and businesses are advised to treat all electrical points as live during the outage.
