Motorists are advised of heavy traffic delays following an accident at the split between the R21 southbound and R24 westbound routes.

A truck transporting bricks reportedly lost control and overturned. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

Four middle lanes are currently affected. Officers from the EMPD Freeway Unit, along with SANRAL, are on scene managing the situation.

Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution and to expect delays, as recovery operations are still underway.
