Grace Restored Foundation helps families in need across Kempton Park
A family-run organisation is bringing practical and spiritual support to communities in Terenure and Norkem Park through regular monthly outreach initiatives.
Faith-based organisation Grace Restored Foundation is working to restore dignity and hope in communities through monthly outreach initiatives.
The family-run organisation provides hot meals, drinks, clothing and other practical support to people in need, with regular outreach visits to Terenure and Norkem Park.
Co-founder Madela Ngozo said the organisation’s work is rooted in the belief that a person’s circumstances should not determine their worth.

“The organisation aims to encourage people to rise above their challenges while providing practical support alongside spiritual guidance.
“We believe that true transformation takes place when practical assistance is combined with love, faith and guidance. Every act of kindness is not charity, but an expression of God’s love,” said Ngozo.
The foundation funds its outreach initiatives through the family’s personal income but hopes to collaborate with individuals and organisations that share its vision.
It also plans to expand its outreach to hospices and rehabilitation centres, where it hopes to provide hygiene and sanitary products to residents.

Another area the organisation hopes to address is what Ngozo describes as the “missing middle” people who may be employed or actively seeking employment but struggle to afford certain necessities.
The foundation particularly wants to assist young graduates and job seekers who may not have suitable professional clothing for job interviews.
Ngozo said the organisation’s motivation comes from seeing the difference even small acts of assistance can make.
“Ultimately, seeing the impact of our efforts on the people we serve, and the gratitude and smiles of recipients, is more than enough,” he said.
