Shangri La Academy matrics celebrate with a ball
Shangri-La Academy’s 35 matrics will write the globally recognised senior certificate of the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) exams later this year.
Shangri-La Academy once again hosted its annual matric dance, a highlight on the calendar for every matric learner.

The theme this year was The Great Gatsby Ball, which was held at 55 Tulbagh Events and Wedding Venue, where the learners and their partners feasted on a delicious dinner, followed by much dancing and laughter.
“It was an honour to host the matric class of 2023 at this year’s matric dance,” said secondary school principal, Mrs Jones.
“The learners all looked stunning dressed up and had a great time. On behalf of the academy, I want to wish all our matric learners the best for the upcoming exams and know that they will continue to show dedication and termination as they have done throughout their schooling career.”
