A new chapter for Shangri-La Academy

As executive head, Rorich will be responsible for the general operational management of the academy as well as curriculum development and skills development for staff and learners.

Continuing their rich tradition of employing only the best educators to ensure quality education for the children in their community, Shangri-La Academy has recently appointed Vernon Rorich as its new executive head.

Rorich will be responsible for the general operational management of the academy as well as curriculum development and skills development for staff and learners.

Rorich holds a B Ed honours degree in educational management, as well as a higher diploma and further diploma in education.

He also completed various development programmes in school management and advancement, leadership development and skills development.

Schools at which Rorich has already made an impact during his career include Sutherland High School, Southdowns College, Waterstone College and Waterberg Academy.

In all of the leadership positions he has filled over the years, Rorich has proved that he is committed to the development of the youth of South Africa and constantly strives to develop strong, visionary leaders for the future of our country.

Rorich’s impressive resume, however, pales in comparison to his passion for education, especially that of secondary school learners.

He has dedicated his career to the improvement of schools all over the country and is now bringing his singular talents to Shangri-La Academy.
