“The initiative started in September this year when we joined the AECI #Future Leaders Competition. We wanted to do something that could make a real difference in our school and community,” said Nong.

“We want people to take responsibility and care for their surroundings. Keeping our environment clean shows respect for ourselves and others.”
The learners’ dedication is evident in the progress they have made.
“We wanted to create a cleaner school and help children in need. So far, we have cleaned up our school and visited a local shelter to assist children with food and reading activities.

Looking ahead, Kind Roots Initiatives plans to expand its work by involving more students in community projects such as tree planting and mentorship programs.
“We plan to recruit more students because teamwork makes the impact bigger and helps the initiative grow.”
