Laerskool Impala prefect, Martinique Van Rooyen: Father’s Day means spending quality time with my dad, who does everything for me. We went out to eat; it was really cold, so we lit a fireplace. We gave him a licence decoder with our family photo on it, so he loved it very much. Thank you so much for caring. Thank you for spending time with me. I love you, and you are the best dad.
Laerskool Impala head girl, Alicia van der Berg: Father’s Day means you can spend time with your family, especially your father, and just to thank them for everything they have done for all the years. On Father’s Day, we woke up, had coffee and made one for my dad, and then we went out to spend time with him. I love you, Dad, and you mean so much to me.
Laerskool Impala deputy head boy, Luandré Du Plessis: Father’s Day means spending a lot of time with your dada. I spent my Father’s Day with my dad by eating breakfast with him; we played games. I would like to say thank you to him for doing everything for me.
