Struwwelpeter: If these statements are correct, we are in trouble

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel

IN a generation or two, the US will ask itself: “Who lost Europe?” So says Dutch right-winger Geert Wilders (the equivalent of our late Eugene Terre’blanche?)

Here are some edited excerpts from his recent speech made in America. If they are true, we’re due for trouble:

l “I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States is the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

l You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Islamist mass-migration.

For instance, in some elementary schools in Amsterdam the word “farm” can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Islamists.

l In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system and mention of the holocaust is forbidden in British schools.

l A total of fifty-four million Islamists now live in Europe.

l The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Islamist students are in favour of a worldwide caliphate.

l Islamists demand what they call ‘respect’. And this is how we give them respect. We have official Islamite state holidays.

l The war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest.

l Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks; the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. (Thanks KCG)

This one has to be told in Afrikaans: ‘n Amerikaanse toeris doen ‘n natuurtoer deur die Okavango. Gatiep is sy toergids. Die Amerikaner neem baie foto’s met sy duur kamera en vra dan vra vir Gatiep: “Do you know anything about the biology or geology of this area?”

Gatiep antwoord: “Nei Master, never heard of that big words.”

Amerikaner: “You sure don’t know a lot my friend?”

Skielik stamp die boot teen ‘n rots en begin sink.

Gatiep: ”Do you know swimonology and escapology away from crocodology?

Amerikaner: “What the hell you mean?”

Gatiep: “Well, today you going to see joumoerology just before you versuiptology.”

An Irish priest was transferred to Texas.

Father O’Malley rose from his bed one morning. It was a fine spring day in his new west Texas mission parish. He walked to the window of his bedroom to get a deep breath of the beautiful day outside.

He then noticed there was a donkey lying dead in the middle of his front lawn. He promptly called the local police station.

The conversation went like this: “Good morning. This is Sergeant Jones. How might I help you?”

“And the best of the day te yerself. This is Father O’Malley at St Ann ‘s Catholic Church. There’s a donkey lying dead in me front lawn and would ye be so kind as to send a couple o’yer lads to take care of the matter?”

Sergeant Jones, considering himself to be quite a wit and recognising the foreign accent, thought he would have a little fun with the good father, replied: “Well now, Father, it was always my impression that you people took care of the last rites!”

There was a short silence on the line. Then Father O’Malley replied: “Aye, ’tis certainly true; but we are also obliged to notify the next of kin first, which is the reason for me call.”
