Thank you for helping Ryan see

A pub 2 pub walk in his aid helped raise enough funds to pay for his two eye operations

LINETTE VAN ROOIJEN writes:

I would like to thank the people who helped my son, Ryan have the chance to restore his eyesight – these people made it possible for him to see.

Ryan had his first operation, the intra-stromal corneal ring prosthesis, on May 8 on his left eye and it went very well. The second operation for the cross binding on his right eye will be on July 31.

It will take a couple of months for his vision to improve.

To Kempton Express for placing the article for me, to my father Renier, to Paul and Thanya Goncalves, Shaun, Greta, my colleagues at Safair, thank you. A special thank you to the organisers of the pub 2 pub walk as well as all the people who took part in the walk to raise funds for these operations.

I am pleased to say that through their efforts, they managed to raise all the funds for Ryan’s operation.

Thank you to each and everyone of you that contributed to this cause – my son and I are grateful. May God bless you all.
