On behalf of Assembly of God Kempton Park and the team of Camango Home Associates, we would like to pass our gratitude for all the support we have received from the team at EXPRESS.
We would also like to say thank you to the community of Ekurhuleni for their support during our winter initiative of donating food parcels to the less fortunate and the chronically ill.
On June 28, together with the caregivers of Camangu Home Based Care NGO, we had an outreach in the informal settlements of Pomona in which we distributed food parcels to the frail, elderly and those most in need.
The project was a resounding success and we look forward to future social development projects in these areas.
We also paid a visit to Vanessa Lorraine Ryan (the chronically ill woman with a heart problem that was featured in EXPRESS). She received food parcels from the team and we also administered prayers at her request.
Furthermore, the team from Camango paid Vanessa a visit on July 2 to follow up on her situation (medical and socially).
