'I have never received service like this'

I am so impressed by the assistance I received from Clr Pieter Henning and all the relevant people he contacted at the municipality that I had to write this letter to Kempton Express.
We have lived in Glen Marais for 14 years and over the past couple of months we suddenly saw a spike in crime in our area. Coincidentally, builders have moved into the area on Tugela Road.
My neighbours were broken into in broad daylight on a Monday morning and neighbours two houses away two days before that on a Saturday midday.
During the early hours of Sunday morning (October 19) streets lights in Koppie, Tugela, Tulbach, Mulder and Anemoon streets were all vandalised. Ourselves and all our neighbours were most concerned, so I contacted Clr Henning via email on Sunday, explaining the situation and also our concerns as this could be linked to various break-ins.
The next day (Monday) at around 10.30am the electricity department truck was outside my house assessing the damage. I have never received service like this.
To Clr Henning and everyone concerned at the municipality a very big thank you.
