Disabled parking: Well done, Festival Mall

Allow me to express my grateful thanks to the powers-that-be at Festival Mall for finally providing new disabled parking bays in the undercover section (Dischem/Checkers side) which can only be accessed with remote control or with help from the security guard on duty.

Last time I complained about the disabled parking bays, I expressed my concern about the chaos during the coming festive season. However, the new area is absolutely wonderful and we who have valid permits can now park without having to get involved in arguments/fights and being told to f-off, as happened to me some time ago when I reprimanded a very able man and his son for taking up such a parking space.

Once again, many thanks on behalf of all disabled motorists who have often had to put up with abuse by selfish people who are too lazy to walk.

May I also wish you and your staff compliments of the coming festive season and express the hope that the coming year will be one of peace, prosperity and crime-free.
