Street lights burn all day long

With all the fuss about saving electricity and switching off all non-essential appliances, perhaps the municipality’s electrical department would like to do the same.

I work in Tembisa on a daily basis and have noticed that the street lights on the road into Tembisa (M87?) are on all day too. This has been on for some time now (maybe a year or two).

Hopefully someone from the electrical department gets to read this and takes action. To be specific, these lights are on the road that goes into Tembisa, off the old Pretoria Road, between Esselen Park College and Lafarge Cement Factory.
