Municipal accounts system is still totally messed up

They are punctual with final notices but not with accounts

FED UP writes:

We all know that the SA Post office (SAPO) has been useless the last couple of years, so I don’t expect to get the municipal account statements in due time (received September’s statement in January), so we are bound to use the internet instead.

However, both December and January’s statements were only available after their due dates. For the December statement I eventually paid an estimated amount and assumed everyone was still on holiday, so they would never send out final notices.

As for the January statement, the statements were only available on the internet from January 26. I paid it as soon as it was available. However, final notices were sent out the very next day.

I would like the administration to explain why they can be so punctual to send final notices, yet totally useless when it comes to the rest of their accounting system. Please do not blame SAPO for this one.
