‘I agree, accounts are messed up’
This letter was given to me by an official, not once, but twice

The letter, “Municipal accounts system is still totally messed up“, refers.
I totally agree. I had the same scenario where I was not receiving my account online for about three to four months. I too paid what I thought would cover the account, as per previous accounts.
Then I suddenly received a bill of just under R5 000 that had to be paid immediately or services would be terminated. I went to the municipality to enquire about this and to find out why I had not been receiving my bill online monthly.
It was advised that the e-siyakhoka system was run by the post office. I was further advised to use the online accounts system as seen in picture.
This letter was given to me by an official, not once, but twice.
Why they have not informed the community, a person doesn’t know. But if you could please let our fellow community know about this.
