Boundary helps Cuddle Trust

This act of kindness will help the CUDDLE Trust to help even more children stay warm this winter

LILANDI FURSTENBURG writes:

As volunteers for the CUDDLE Trust, operating out of Kempton Park, my husband and I were delighted to be able to take the children that are part of our KINOS (Kids In Need Of Support) project on a shopping trip.

We visited Boundary Silk Bazaar where each child was to choose a pair of Tomy Tekkies and a warm winter jacket.

These children, between the ages of three and 21, have no idea how to shop for clothes.

They usually receive hand-me-downs and donations, and as such, have to be happy to wear whichever size is closest to theirs.

You can imagine their excitement at being able to choose not only the right size, but even the colour of their shoes.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Boundary Silk Bazaar for their kindness, patience and care in helping the children find the correct size shoes and jackets.

I would also like to warmly thank the owners of Boundary Silk Bazaar for the generous discount we received without even asking.

This act of kindness will help the CUDDLE Trust to help even more children stay warm this winter.

It is encouraging to know that one of Kempton Park’s longest-running establishments (I remember buying my own school uniform there) has such an interest in investing in the community wherein they do business.

I highly recommend them for excellent customer service, as well as great quality for money.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
