Someone is making a killing here

To whom do we speak in order for some investigation to take place?

BARBARA HAYMAN writes:

I don’t know if you can see this attached picture clearly, but it appeared on Facebook on June 19.

Six grinning and oh-so-proud Americans, draping their stars and stripes flag over a newly killed rhino. Of course, everyone is up in arms about this picture.

Over the years, I have spent hundreds of rands on different “save our rhino” funds – to what avail?

Of course we are angry, but my question is this: Someone, somewhere has issued a permit to allow these Americans to slaughter one of our most endangered species, who?

The permit must have cost these idiots many thousands of rands, where does that money go and into whose pocket?

How far up do we need to go to get the truth to this question? Just lately, there have been many such photographs appearing on Facebook, so this means that someone is making a killing (excuse the pun) and is laughing all the way to the bank.

How do we stop this? To whom do we speak in order for some investigation to take place with immediate effect?

People assume that six Americans just arrived in South Africa with their hunting rifles and a-hunting they went.

No, my friends, we need to get to the source and act. It’s the only way to stop the killing.
