How can they sleep in this mess?

Driving through the Kempton Park CBD on Sunday morning I was shocked at the rubbish littering the street of the ‘cleanest municipality’.
I understand that a lot of homeless people sleep on the pavement but looking at my picture it makes me wonder if they are happy to sleep in this mess.
I try to support the homeless people in Kempton Park as much as possible but I believe they should try and do their bit for the community or at least keep the place where they sleep clean.
It really is not that difficult to pick up rubbish from the floor and instead of sitting in the sun all day, they should try to make a small difference in their own way.
We all need to contribute to a better attitude.
