Hats off to Norkem Park SAPS’ Col Tshabalala

'I hope the whole community gives her the credit where it is so sorely due'

MARYNA KOEKEMOER of Birch Acres writes:

I had to visit Norkem Park Police Station to report an accident on Saturday morning, October 17, with great trepidation.

But what a very pleasant surprise awaited me. The client area was spotless, there were no queues and the few people there were attended to quickly and professionally.

I waited maybe 10 minutes and then was attended to by the very friendly and helpful Sgt Emily Mudzunsi. While the sergeant was taking down my details, Col Francina Tshabalala, the station commander, came to the front (on her day off) and greeted everyone and then sat down at the counter to attend to a person who had been waiting for attention.

Now, if that is not service, then I don’t know. You can see the tremendous difference the colonel has already made to this understaffed station.

My hat goes off to her and her endeavours and I hope the whole community gives her the credit where it is so sorely due.
