The ingratitude of some people is absolutely mind-boggling

They should certainly not be disrespectful to them

EVE SHEAD of Van Riebeeck Park writes:

I read with dismay and anger your article entitled, “Norkem Park SAPS warns residents“.

The level of crime in SA, and especially in Kempton Park, is of monumental proportions and totally out of control.

So, when the police actually take the trouble to warn people against leaving their valuables on show, their car windows open, doors unlocked and their house safety gates wide open, people should be thankful for the officers who are taking the trouble to go the extra mile.

They should certainly not be disrespectful to them, going so far as to tell them to mind their own business! When those people do get robbed or, even worse, attacked in their homes, they will then most certainly make it the police’s business, won’t they?

The ingratitude of some people is absolutely mind-boggling.
