A VERY DISGRUNTLED CITIZEN writes:
I am writing this letter with the deepest concern with regards to the state of our town.
When you are living around Pongola River Drive, Dewald and Strydom streets there is this forest with snakes now.
My major concern is, aren’t tenders awarded for grass cutting, because it only happens twice in summer.
Our municipality is in partnership with the criminals as they are creating a hiding space for them. What about our Bill of Right to safety? Why can’t this grass be maintained?
This is just not acceptable at all. How can people live in such a place? The municipality must address this matter.
Kempton Park is the most unkempt place I’ve ever seen with long grass everywhere. Why are these tenders awarded anyway?
