No-one answers to help with noise

My concern comes from the overuse of fireworks in residential areas.

I tried countless times to get hold of the noise disturbance number for the police on New Year’s Eve, New Year evening and the evening after that because of the fireworks.

I have a German Shepherd that is very sensitive to sounds and on those days she was really terrified of the fireworks.

The big question is, what are the police doing about this if they never even answer the phone?
