The letters about UIF money refer.
I thought I was in hell. This is the fourth time I will be going on February 9. You have to be there before 5am to join the already long queue.
Once inside it’s hell; the three security guards run the show – all rude and treat you like dirt. I wish to remind you my tax pays your salary.
People sit in an unconditioned, dirty area, all coughing on each other, let alone the newborn babies there. No toilet facilities. I have been told by a very pregnant woman who was told this. Disgusting, totally disgusting.
The staff are lazy and find any opportunity to stroll around at a snail’s pace. They had no water on my second visit at about 10am and staff were going home. Since when do computers run on water? I suppose anything not to work.
This was when they rushed. Documents were not scanned and now we wait again because we are not accepted for our claim.
Let me remind you, that is our money which comes off our salaries. We should not have to be treated like criminals and beggars. This department should go and see how SARS Edenvale operates.
Can no political party do a thing to this department? Maybe do something for votes?
I would like a reply from the political party that is going to sort this out. We don’t need to beg for our own money, we all have things to pay.
