Various cars hit the same pothole

'It's wonderful to know there are still gentleman out there'

MELISSA JOSEPH writes:

While driving on Zuurfontein Road, coming from Edleen heading towards Croydon to get on the highway, I hit a pothole on Monday, March 14.

This is really a major problem. This all happened around 7pm and when moving my car to the side, I noticed there were nine other cars and later a truck that experienced the same fate.

It should really be brought to someone’s attention. This obviously is a major problem which could cause horrific accidents. The road is very dark and therefore you cannot see it.

But I also want to acknowledge a gentleman who helped me. He was really a godsend, considering we were standing in the middle of nowhere and he could have just fixed his tyre to get to wherever he was headed and left me with my kids to see our own way.

It’s wonderful to know there are still gentlemen out there.
