'We have been truly blessed by our caring community members'

My husband had a work injury in January, which caused severe neurological damage, especially to his right side.
The employer is not registered for workman’s compensation, which left us in a undesirable position. My husband is still not in a position to return to work due to the extent of his injuries.
With only one income since the accident it has been very difficult.
I would like to thank a few people who helped us in various ways, from transport to lending a listening ear, or just leaving me with a smile because of sincere gratitude for making a difference when least expected.
Norkem Auto Spares and staff, Dr Lasia Miller and staff at Edleen Medical Centre, Cornel le Roux and staff at Norkem Optometrist, Charles van Wijk from Meat Factory, Desiree and Jan Bothma from Dejanique Residences, parents from Van Riebeeck Park Primary School, various car guards at Norkem Mall, Festival Mall and Elgin Mall, the petrol attendants at BP Elgin – thank you!
We have been truly blessed by our caring community members.
