Norkem Park Transfer Station stays a headache

There are always a few sitting next to the fence drinking beer

NOT Happy Resident from Norkem Park writes:

I reside in Norkem Park. I know the council wants to try and clean the transfer station near us, but it is becoming worse by the day.

Most of the “no dumping” signs that were erected are gone. There are always a lot of black bags lying at the entrance to the station and McDonald’s. They are torn open and it is just rubbish everywhere.

Papers are lying all over the road and down the pavements. I can just imagine what it must smell like there. How people can still go to McDonald’s to buy food amazes me.

If it rains, you can hardly drive down that road because of all the rubbish blocking the drains.

If you try to enter the transfer station people run to help and if you say no, they get cross with you.

There are always a few people sitting next to the fence drinking beer. I thought drinking in public was not allowed. If we try it, we will be arrested, get locked up and get one hell of a fine to pay.

I know that the transfer station is a big headache. A person is too ashamed to let visitors come to your house that way.
