These traffic lights stay a nightmare

Please, can something be done about the synchronisation of the traffic lights at the Kwartel Street crossing over the P91 to De Wiekus Street, all the way down?

If these traffic lights are synced it is a breeze, but now it is an utter nightmare to get from Birch Acres into Kwartel down to CR Swart Drive.

The traffic is jammed so badly it takes about 15 minutes to get from the four-way stop on Bergrivier Street onto De Wiekus Street, of which the distance is not even a full kilometre.
