An hour ago on Wednesday November 1 (around noon) my neighbour and I watched with disgust as the garbage truck drove speedily past our houses without warning us beforehand to move our wheelie bins from inside our yards where we keep them for safety.
We were ready with our bins but council did not play their part.
A bell or siren needs to be fitted to these trucks and they must give residents time to react.
