Our bin got stolen the first week we received it (a month ago).
So we have been putting the bags on the pavement. On February 16 they collected only the bins in our road.
I would say only about 30 per cent collected. Do we presume 70 per cent of the bins have been stolen?

I phoned the waste department on February 20 and surprisingly they answered. I told them the issue of the March 5 cut-off date and they said it was my problem.
Got a new bin today (February 20). Let’s see if I still have it by Friday.
You cannot even rely on the metro to collect on the scheduled day, so you need to bring in your bin every day that it is not collected (or stolen).
Maybe we should get Zuma to run the waste department. He will steal everything.
