ANC is trying to heal the rifts

‘It is my view that job creation will not succeed unless all racial discrimination is eliminated.’

GEORGIE of Birchleigh North writes:

I am 82 years old and, as mentioned in a previous letter, I study politics to keep my brain active.

I am not a member of a church or political party. I, however, cast my vote regularly.

The period since the municipal elections has been quite interesting. I was very optimistic when Cyril Ramaphosa took over. However, it is my opinion that keeping the ANC in power is the ANC’s main objective and keeping the various factions happy, a full-time job.

“The land question provides a fascinating case of how an opposition party can, with extraordinary success, impose its policy positions on the governing party. The ANC must be careful to be sidelined,” writes Mpumelelo Mkhabela.

The ANC has been sidelined and is now busy trying to heal the rifts caused by Zuma and his bandits to give attention to our country’s plight. We need jobs and must do something to halt the population explosion.

The BBEE legislation has not been mentioned at all but it, in my perception, was enforced during the latter part of last year. In Kempton Park, I know of a few people that were retrenched because the small white family businesses they were employed by did not comply.

It is my view that job creation will not succeed unless all racial discrimination is eliminated.

It is obvious that the ANC cannot survive unless they can blame apartheid and whites for their own failures. Malema is playing a political war game. May I suggest that he starts writing a game that portrays his moves.

Zuma has not been tried and punished for the devastation he and his band of criminals have caused and is allowed to promote the ANC by blaming the whites for the ANC’s failure?

Are we going to allow the ANC to continue to fight for survival if it destroys our economy?
