Wheelie bins are out of stock, resident told

Please explain to us why we could not get one of those wheelie bins just standing there on the premises

NOT A HAPPY RESIDENT of Esther Park writes:

Our rubbish bags are not being picked up because we do not have a wheelie bin.

Unfortunately both my husband and I are in a situation where we simply cannot take off time from work to collect a wheelie bin.

On Monday, June 18, we made the effort to go the Kempton Park Waste Management Depot in Spartan to collect a wheelie bin (as per a message received: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and Saturday from 8am to 3pm before June 30).

However, we were told to come back the next day as they did not have any stock available. Trying to explain our situation, all fell on deaf ears.

How and when must we collect a wheelie bin? Please explain to us why we could not get one of those wheelie bins just standing there on the premises.

But your message reads: A cleaner and greener Ekurhuleni starts with you (us the residents)

No! It starts with you and your service Ekurhuleni.
