Jeugie-extravaganza is incredible

One can only be in awe of these young performers.

BARBARA HAYMAN writes:

Hoërskool Jeugland entertained our local senior citizens to the most incredible musical and multi-talented extravaganza show on July 24.

Called Dancing through the Decades, this musical was slick, colourful, exciting and beautifully choreographed.

Jeugies, I didn’t think you could top last year’s production, but yet, once again, you have proved me wrong. And the costumes were gorgeous.

This extravaganza produced something for everyone, jazz, American smooth, Latin American, jive, rock ’n roll, ballroom mixed with brilliantly performed synchronised dancing and even some gentle yet exquisite ballet.

The singing was excellent too. One can only be in awe of these young performers. This production must have taken many months of hard work, but it has paid off handsomely. Everyone in the audience enjoyed themselves immensely.

So hats off to all you wonderful youngsters, and a special mention of an incredibly talented young man, Austin Scheepers. He sang and danced his way right into our hearts.

So, watch out Broadway, he’s on his way.
