No speed limit signs along High Road makes road dangerous

Many motorists travel at very high speeds along High Road.

Your article, “My life falls apart” (March 7), refers.

I currently reside on Eureka Street in Pomona which links up with High Road and I am a daily user of these roads.

What is noticeable on High Road is that apart from the high accident zone signs on this road, there are no speed limit signs.

WATCH: Family needs to rebuild their home

This is noticeable from the Pomona Road and Great North Road intersections all along High Road.

In recent times two fatal accidents had taken place at the High Road/Eureka Street intersection and now this horrific accident as published in Kempton Express.

Many motorists travel at very high speeds along High Road and I believe the lack of speed limit signs and visible policing through speed traps contribute towards this problem.
