‘Rude’ woman needs to apologise after election queue remarks

Her tone was not just aggressive but really rude.

JENNY EDWARDS writes:

I was working at the DA table outside of the voting station on May 8 when an absolutely rude and awful, middle aged woman verbally attacked Mr André du Plessis for allowing the elderly and disabled people to move to the front of the queue.

Her tone was not just aggressive but really rude. She said she arrived early to get done and that she did not want to wait and did not like him and she would never vote again.

In a very calm and well mannered way he tried to explain that the older people and disabled could not be expected to stand in a queue but she kept on shouting above his voice.

In my opinion she should publicly apologise to him. He did say that he did not like her attitude and he therefore did not like her either, but at no stage did he raise his voice or draw any extra attention to the matter.
