Mr President, do you guys think before you speak?

You deploy 73 000 soldiers to do what? Go on a power trip?

Dear Mr President,

Well sir, you told us to stay home for 21 days and we did. Then you told us that you extend the lockdown.

You never told us in the beginning that you would phase out the lockdown, yet we accepted it and here we are.

You announced the levels, but you never told us what the time frame would be between levels. You and the rest of the ministers keep making rules and then change them, for example on cigarettes and tobacco.

You listen to 2 000 people and make a call. Well, I aim to get you 10 000 likes and shares on this post, let’s see if you will listen and lift the ban on tobacco. The reasons given are absolute nonsense.

You guys just do not make sense, you think we will share our cigarettes, but you aim to open schools where children will be sitting three at a desk, will play together and share food, but you worry about sharing cigarettes.

You allow people to travel together, work together, sit in meetings, shop together, sharing change rooms at the mines. But you do not allow one on one interaction between those in the beauty industry and their clients or domestic workers and gardeners and gardening services to resume work.

I ask again, do you guys think before you speak? You announced stimulus packages and your ministers decide that it is based on colour, you announced food parcels and again it is colour-based and even gets stolen.

You ask for help from farmers, but when they need you the money goes missing. You tell people over 60 to stay at home yet you and your ministers are all over the show, yes you are all over 60 as well.

You deploy 73 000 soldiers to do what? Go on a power trip? Or is it that you planned this all along and you know you will need to deal with a revolution because of stupid ideas and rules.

Who is the real president anyway? Some hail you as a hero, I maintain you are just a man who was voted for to lead the people of the country, that is your job.

That is what you get paid to do. So please start leading and by leading I mean keep your word. Always remember what happens in the dark always comes to light.

One day we will all know what really went on while we were confined to our homes, while we lost our livelihood.

You called it sacrifice. Sacrifice is where I give something voluntary, you sir, forced this on us with the threat of jailtime, yet you release prisoners. Let me rather stop there.

I hope you and all your ministers have a wonderful and entertaining evening.
