Humbled Kempton Park Citizen writes:
I would like to thank the Gauteng traffic officers who assisted us on April 23 around 5.30pm.
I had an emergency, rushing to hospital with my daughter who was severely depressed and hallucinating. She had been told she swallowed some poisonous substance.
A convoy of Gauteng traffic officers was parked at the Chloorkop Caltex garage and I approached them for assistance. They responded swiftly to the situation by intervening and helped to calm my daughter.
Three of the officers went beyond their call of duty and offered to accompany and escort us to the hospital while one of the three offered to drive my car.
Thank you for the kindness you have displayed. You have shown you are indeed a true rainbow nation and more than hardcore officers.
