Good Samaritan seeking owners of lost property

"I then made a U-turn from where I tried to find the bakkie, but without luck."

Editor – My name is Gold Mametja and I reside in Estherpark.

On the afternoon of November 18, I picked up what looks like a couch/lounge suit headrest that fell off a white Isuzu bakkie along Valley Road outside Thornhill Estate in Modderfontein.

The bakkie was loaded with some home furniture. I stopped to pick up the item because it was at great risk of getting damaged.

I then made a U-turn from where I tried to find the bakkie, but without luck. I stopped at the Thornhill Estate entrance just round the corner from where I picked up the item to check if the bakkie entered the premises.

Still without luck, I went to the entrance gates of the other five nearby housing complexes, including the Reid and Greenlee in Linbro Park.

I don’t know how to get the message out so that the owners can reclaim their headrest.

I can be contacted at gmametja@gmail.com
